Last Years Results
Division 1:
The 1997 season should see an expansion of teams in the Division 1 at the Morwell competition. The strongest clubs (UBANGI and Warriors) each plan to split an enter two separate teams into Division 1. This should remove the dominate position these two clubs have held in the competition over the last several years.
The expectation is that the competition as a whole will improve, as teams split and reform, there will be a general leveling of skill sets in the clubs, resulting in evenly matched sides, awarding the spectators with more exciting and entertaining matches.
It is hoped that the Churchill based team the Vikings will return to Division 1 from Division 2 as they should be situated to bring a competitive team to the foray.
It is rumored that last years
teams Baldric and Poachers will join forces after each team lost
key players. It is unknown if what the new Super team will be
called.
