Lyre Bird Hill's contemporary owner-built home incorporates modern and spacious facilities for three couples to enjoy the Schmidt's hospitality in providing accommodation and a hearty country breakfast. The guest house has been furnished with local crafts, including woollen floor rugs, pottery and glassware, and a magnificent blackwood dining table. Many happy Saturday night dinners have been held in these relaxing surrounds, in front of the open fire with a glass or two of fine wine from the Estate.	Wilsons Promontory is within an hours drive from the winery, an excellent golf course is just 3km down the road, and Inverloch beaches are 15 minutes drive away. The Winery is on the Koonwarra/Inverloch Road, between the South Gippsland Highway (A440) and the Bass Highway (B460). Take the South Gippsland Highway to Koonwarra, via Leongatha, and turn right at the Koonwarra Cafe towards Inverloch. We are on the bitumen road, - don't be diverted - and just 3.7km from Koonwarra.
