Research & Development

SYM-PAC Has a committment to "research & development". We believe to "stay ahead of the pack" we must be looking forward. Always looking a better ways of solving business issues, adapting the latest technology, researching the application of new ideas and equipment, keeping abreast of changing Government regulations, researching and testing changes in operating systems.

Analysis, Design and Programming will continue so as to make the product faster, more robust, and easier to use. Techniques and interfaces are contuinually being investigated. New printers, new scanners, new data entry devices are always coming onto the market. New methods of "backup", wider and higher resolution on screens, larger drives, newer mobile computing applications and devices are continually being researched and tested.

It wasn't that long ago that the SYM-PAC software was the only product that could interface with EFTPOS equipment and the banks (correctly) in the Timber & Hardware Industry in Australia. The technology has now been taken up by the major banks, proving that good R & D makes life easier for our clients.

As part of the continuing "Support & Licence Agreement", SYM-PAC offers the upgrades to the modules being used by clients "free" of any further initial licence fee. In some cases additional training is required, and this is offered at a discounted rate to existing clients.
